Hafa man Victor,
Hope your Thanksgiving was a festive one. I know your brother, Dobie, as he was closer in age to me, he was probably in the same class as my brother David.
The only requirement for the organization is being an alumnus or alumna of St. Jude School (now Bishop Baumgartner).
The St. Jude alumni of Guam was started up by close friends whose association with St Jude was something they had in common. These young ladies graduated from the 8th grade class in 1962 and had started getting together along with other alumni of St. Jude.
Choosing to be inclusive of all St. Jude alumni, the society has grown to include all classes of St. Jude, from 1955 through 1971, sponsoring get togethers, celebrations at Mass, brunches , trips and the like.
I encourage you to check/use the web site to contact friends, and other alumni from St. Jude. Use the Guest Book, and in particular this blog site to convey your thoughts, request for prayers or any goings on. As an example the Sinajana St Jude Fiesta Organization of San Diego held a Mass and fiesta in October, clelbrating their 25th anniversary! A lot of relocated Sinajana locals participated, some of which were St Jude school alumni using the occasion to get together and reminisce. We've even had a group of alumnae visit the nuns in La Crosse, Wisconsin this past summer. Just check out the NEWS page!
I will save your info that you provided, and if you have no objection share it with other alumni who may inquire.
I also encourage you to send your picture so we can include you in your respective class year of graduation in the ALUMNI page of this website.
Thank you for your interest and we hope to hear from you.
